The app "Kriegsmäler" offers a range of Catholic, Protestant and Jewish monuments from the period after the First World War to its historic sites in Munich.
The particular focus is on the interpretation of the text, image and symbol language of the monument, the representatives of the religious communities in the then societal debate positioned through which war and peace.The twelve locations can be accessed via an interactive map.
Accompanying texts, historical figures, current photos and audio commentary provides extensive background information.
An introduction and a summary comment facilitate historical period.
